PFLAG South
Same-Difference Youth Group
PFLAG Same-Difference is a Dunedin support and social activities group for people aged 20 and under who
identify themselves as gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, takataapui, intersex or who are questioning their
sexual orientation, gender identity or sex.
We meet regularly with three groups:
Coffee group
We meet every 3rd Friday of every month - 5.30-7.30 at a local Dunedin Cafe
Open to queer and questioning youth, their friends and family, this is an opportunity to meet and mix with
others in the group in a relaxed setting
It's a relaxed and social space, you can come and leave when you want to
New members are allowed to just turn up on the day
If you're there within the first hour, you get one free hot drink per person!
Action group
We meet on the Wednesday between coffee and structured group from 4-6pm
This is a new group for 2010
This group is project and event based, aiming to support young queer people to work on projects and ideas that they develop and design themselves
Structured Group
We meet on the 1st Friday of every month - 5.30-7.30
This is held in a private space in Dunedin, and is a place to talk about queer issues in a safe and private
space
You are asked to come for the whole time
This is for queer and questioning youth 20 and under, if you want to join please contact us first
